Alternative Solutions for the Capped-Out H-1B

The H-1B lottery allows foreign workers in specialty occupations to gain employment with a U.S. employer. Specialty occupations require specialized knowledge and at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Biotechnology, engineering, and medicine all fall under this category, as do many other fields.

This program, however, has a limited number of available visas each year. When this quota is exhausted, immigration attorneys must seek creative alternatives to fulfill their clients’ needs.

In this infographic, we’ll highlight some alternative solutions for the capped-out H-1B, which you can read about in more detail in the full blog post here.
