H. Ronald Klasko, one of the country’s top EB-5 immigration lawyers and founding partner of Klasko Immigration Law Partners, LLP, recently presented an update on United States Citizenship and Immigration Services policies with respect to the EB-5 immigration visa program at the Association to Invest In the USA (IIUSA®) Conference.
The IIUSA is the national membership-based industry trade association for the EB-5 Regional Center Program (the “Program”). Its primary mission is to “make the Program a permanent and successful part of 21st century U.S. economic development policy. Federally-designated, active EB-5 Regional Centers – the public and/or private entities approved to serve as the conduits of foreign direct investment (“FDI”) and regional economic development in the Program – are IIUSA’s core members.”
Chairman of the EB-5 Investor Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Mr. Klasko is a former national President and three-term General Counsel of AILA. For the last 20 years, Mr. Klasko has been included in the highly regarded Best Lawyers in America and is named one of the country’s top immigration lawyers by Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2013. A frequent lecturer and prolific author on immigration law topics, Mr. Klasko is one of only three immigration lawyers ever honored by AILA with the Founders Award–an award given to the individual or group who has had the most important impact on immigration law. A graduate of Lehigh University (B.A. 1971), Mr. Klasko received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D. 1974).
