Why Choose Klasko Immigration Law Partners, LLP For Business Immigration Matters?

When a corporation has an immigration matter, we know exactly what to do.

We respond immediately, and solve our client’s problems. Immigration law is all we do, and we have been helping businesses all over the world with their immigration needs — both simple and complicated — for many years. There is no re-invention of the wheel or learning curve. We do not need to learn the law or familiarize ourselves with the proper government agencies. We do everything necessary to make hiring and transferring foreign nationals a smooth, expeditious and understandable process.

Our Attorneys

Experience

H. Ronald Klasko is a former national president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, was chosen by three different AILA presidents to be the General Counsel of AILA, is the author of a two-volume text on employer compliance with the immigration laws, and is one of the most frequently requested speakers on immigration law issues. He represents many companies in a wide range of industries, as well as hospitals and universities. Ron is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and a member of the prestigious Academy of Business Immigration Lawyers.

William A. Stock represents large and small companies in a large variety of industries. He was the recipient of an award as the best young immigration lawyer in the country, is an author of a leading immigration law textbook and is a professor of immigration law at Villanova University School of Law. Bill is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Law.

Ron, Bill and Elise are supported by an experienced, highly trained group of immigration lawyers and staff.

Reputation

Our attorneys are well known and well respected by government officials at the Department of Labor, USCIS and the Department of State. Three different government agencies have chosen one of our attorneys to participate in the training of government officials. Where necessary, we are able to advocate solutions to difficult problems directly to appropriate government officials. We are also well respected by our peers. Three of our attorneys have been selected by our peers as “Best Lawyers in America.” Ron Klasko has been selected by International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers as one of the 25 most highly-respected immigration lawyers in the world.

Attorney Involvement

Terrific attorneys are only terrific to the client if they are accessible to the client. Our attorneys, including our most senior attorneys, have frequent and often daily contact with our clients. The attorney establishes strategy on every case and personally prepares or reviews every case.

Client Service

Responsiveness

Every member of our firm is committed to responding to every email or phone call within 24 hours. Period. We stand ready to help and are always accessible to help our clients.
We do everything possible to avoid emergencies by advance planning. Our turnaround time on routine nonimmigrant applications is a maximum of 3 business days or less if required for a specific case.
Creativity

We have a well-deserved national reputation for creative solutions to difficult problems. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, usually offering one or more solutions to difficult problems presented by clients.

Value-Added Services

Consistent with our practice of developing a team approach with our clients, we provide many value-added services, including in-house training sessions, client alerts on new developments, client newsletters and client seminars. We provide Desk References (e.g., I-9s, LCAs) for our clients’ day-to-day use. We also provide customized case status reports upon request. Many of our clients provide their employees with our customized letters for various purposes, such as traveling.

Technology

We have developed a customized web-based case status monitoring system for our clients. With a password, our clients can access a secure Internet site to be apprised of the current status of all of their employees’ cases.

Teamwork with Clients

Flexibility to Client’s Needs

We realize that each client has its own needs and preferences. We provide advice on suggested systems, but ultimately we defer to the client’s rules and preferences for handling the immigration function. Consistent with the client’s desires, we provide standardized questionnaires to minimize the client’s need to devote excess time to obtaining additional information.

Client Interaction

We provide practical, clear suggestions for handling immigration matters, but always discuss with the client the alternatives, possible issues and business risks involved.

Understanding Our Client’s Business

We make it our business to learn our client’s business. For that reason, our policy is to visit client locations on a regular basis without fee.

Corporate Immigration Policy Statements

We work with our clients to develop Corporate Immigration Policy Statements to deal with the spate of immigration issues on a policy level rather than on an ad hoc basis.

Client Satisfaction Surveys

Through formal and informal means, we review our performance with our clients and request input on ways we can be even more responsive to client needs.

Resources

Professional Resources

We have well-trained, experienced immigration lawyers and paralegals on staff and are able to assign one or more lawyers and one or more paralegals to every client.

Training Program

All lawyers and paralegals in the firm undergo an extensive in-house training program covering all aspects of immigration law and the unique way we deal with each case and client. In addition, we have an in-house newsletter and hold weekly meetings to update all of our professionals on new developments in immigration law.

References

The best source of information on the quality of our service is our clients. Most of our clients chose us after being represented by other firms. They can best explain how we handle the immigration function differently — and why they believe we do it better. Please ask us for client references.
