Steve Miller is an Editor at Klasko Immigration Law Partners, LLP. Steve has been with our team for over 5 years and provides immigration assistance to universities, hospitals, and companies of all sizes.
Steve manages the firm’s EB-1, EB-2 National Interest Waiver, and O-1 practice and oversees a team of technical writers, editing their work and providing guidance on case strategy and evidence presentation. He works closely with hospital administrative staff, human resources, and the foreign national employee to prepare O-1 and EB-1A Extraordinary Ability petitions for scientists, physicians, artists, entertainers, and other highly-skilled professionals; EB-1B petitions for outstanding researchers; and EB-2 National Interest Waiver petitions for physicians, scientists, and other professionals whose work is in the national interest.
As the managing editor of the EB-1/EB-2NIW/O-1 team, Steve works with KILP attorneys to help determine the best path of employment-based immigration options for employees at hospitals, universities, and research institutions. In coordination with KILP attorneys, Steve responds to queries from hospital administrative staff, human resources, medical staff, and other employees; on immigration related matters, including visa options, risks, strategy, documentation, and timelines.
In addition to managing a team of writers, Steve also manages the workflow of all EB-1, EB2NIW, and O-1 cases, tracking deadlines and milestones, to ensure timely completion and filing of cases.
Steve’s skills as a manager of people and processes, along with his understanding of USCIS’ processes and adjudications policy has resulted in an approval rate of over 99% for our EB-1/EB-2NIW/O-1 team.
