William A. Stock has been handling all aspects of immigration law for more than twenty years. Suzanne B. Seltzer heads the New York office of the Firm. Suzanne chairs the American Immigration Lawyers's (AILA) USCIS Liaison Committee, is a member of AILA’s InterAgency Liaison Committee, and recently completed her tenure as the Vermont Service Center (VSC) liaison. In addition to her role on AILA committees, Suzanne is a Regulatory Ombudsman for NAFSA: Association of International Educators, is on the Steering Committee of the New York Anti-Trafficking Network, and Co-Chairs its legal subcommittee. Elise A. James Bowyer is a Staff Attorney in the Firm’s Philadelphia office and a member of the Firm’s EB-5 practice. James is in involved in various stages of the EB-5 process, including the preparation and filing of I-526 Petitions. Before joining the Firm, James was an Associate in the Corporate & Securities group at an AmLaw 100 firm in Philadelphia. James earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Social Policy & the Law. Karuna Chandani-Simbeck
Karuna Chandani-Simbeck is an Associate in the Firm’s Philadelphia office and a member of the Firm’s EB-5 practice. As part of the EB-5 team, Karuna in involved in various stages of the EB-5 process, including the preparation and filing of I-526 Petitions (particularly the source and path of funds), for both regional center investors and individual investment opportunities. Lisa T. Felix
Lisa Felix represents corporate and educational clients who seek to hire or transfer foreign employees, as well as foreign individuals seeking employment in the United States. She advises employers on immigration compliance, responding to government investigations, and immigration strategy and planning. Before practicing as an attorney, Lisa worked extensively in higher education, providing immigration services to students, faculty, researchers, and administrators at the University of Pennsylvania, the State University of New York at Buffalo, and at Southern Illinois University–Carbondale’s branch campus in Niigata, Japan. Lisa is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, where she has served as co-chair of the AILA Philadelphia Chapter's Pro Bono Committee, and on the organizing committee of the chapter’s annual conference. R. Tina Patel is an Associate in the Firm’s Philadelphia office and a member of its EB-5 practice. Tina currently works with developers and investors who seek to use foreign investment capital under the EB-5 program to fund job creating projects either through the creation of a Regional Center or under an existing Regional Center. Tina earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2008 where she was the President and Founder of the South Asian Law Student Association and served as a Managing Editor for the Emory International Law Review. Tina received a certification in Estate Planning from New York University School of Law in 2013. Liam P. Sweeney
Liam Sweeney is a Staff Attorney with the Firm’s Philadelphia office. As part of the Firm’s EB-5 practice, Liam focuses on the preparation and filing of I-526 Petitions, including the source and path of funds, for both regional center investors and individual investors. Prior to joining the firm, Liam had a diverse international career working in Dublin, Tokyo and New York. In Dublin he worked as a solicitor for a large Irish firm and in Tokyo and New York Liam was Senior Counsel for a Japanese sogososha (General Trading Company). Liam took a hiatus from law to work as a professional photographer and has worked with Enda Kenny, T.D., current Prime Minister of Ireland and several well known music industry talents including Sting and Sinead O’Connor.
