This year the program will commence with a special session on the Fundamentals of Immigration Law for those new to the field.

The main session of our Spring Seminar will address current topics of interest for professionals involved in employment-based immigration.

Speakers

H. Ronald Klasko, Esq. – is a former national President and three-term General Counsel of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 1991 and was rated by his peers as the best immigration lawyer in the world in the International Who's Who of Business Lawyers. He is a frequent lecturer and prolific author on immigration law topics, and is one of only two immigration lawyers ever honored with the Founders Award, bestowed on the individual or group who has the most important impact on immigration law. Ron was selected by the Chambers Global Guide 2007 as one of twelve top tier immigration lawyers in the U.S.

Richard R. Rulon, Esq. – has been practicing immigration law for more than 30 years and is listed in Best Lawyers in America. He served for 7 years on the Board of Trustees of the American Immigration Law Foundation including 6 years as Chairman. He is a former Chair of AILA’s Philadelphia Chapter, has authored numerous articles on immigration law topics and has played an active role in helping to shape immigration legislation. Rich was honored as an Honorary Fellow of AILF in 2005.

William A. Stock, Esq. – was the recipient of AILA’s Joseph Minsky Award for outstanding accomplishments in immigration law and is listed in Best Lawyers in America and the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers. He is a Senior Editor of AILA's annual Immigration & Nationality Law Handbook, and is co-author of the “J Visa Guidebook” from Matthew Bender. Bill has served on the board of governors of AILA and currently serves as Chair of AILA's Philadelphia Chapter. He is an adjunct professor of law at Villanova University School of Law.

Suzanne B. Seltzer, Esq. – heads the New York office of the Firm. She is well known for her representation of universities, hospitals and research institutions and their medical and research personnel and for obtaining extraordinary ability and national interest waiver immigrant petitions, O-1 nonimmigrant visas, and waivers of the two-year home country residence requirement. Suzanne holds the highest (“AV”) peer rating from Martindale, the oldest lawyer peer review, and was honored with the Cornerstone Award by the Lawyers Alliance for New York in recognition of her outstanding contributions to pro bono work on behalf of non-profit agencies. She also recieved the Samuel E. Klein Pro Bono Award for her work on behalf of victims of human trafficking.
