1st Annual EB-5 Seminar
Marketing and Compliance: A Guide for Regional Centers and Developers
Klasko Immigration Law Partners, LLP is holding its 1st Annual EB-5 Seminar on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at The Hub Cira Centre in Philadelphia.
Please join us for “Marketing and Compliance: A Guide for Regional Centers and Developers,” a full day seminar for those interested in raising capital for real estate development projects and other projects through the USCIS Immigrant Investor Program (the EB-5 Program).
This seminar, unlike the vast majority of EB-5 seminars, will discuss two of the most important, but least talked about aspects of EB-5—successfully marketing projects to investors, and maintaining compliance with USCIS requirements. Getting your regional center or project approved is an important step, but it is only the beginning. The ultimate goal for project developers and regional centers alike is to successfully raise capital and help their investors achieve unconditional permanent residence. This seminar will discuss current trends in marketing projects in China and India, and will discuss both working with overseas agents and structuring projects that are both marketable and compliant with immigration regulations. The seminar will also present lessons learned from successfully marketed projects, including the Philadelphia W Hotel/Element Hotel and other projects.
The seminar will also feature a panel on EB-5 compliance, which will discuss setting up procedures and processes for collecting, organizing, and presenting documents related to the flow of investor funds and job creation, with a specific focus on the I-924A annual reporting requirements and preparing for investor I-829 filings. With more and more projects approaching the deadline for filing I-829 petitions, and with USCIS issuing notices of intent to terminate non-compliant regional centers, compliance is fast becoming one of the most important topics in EB-5.
We look forward to presenting you with insights and strategies on marketing projects and on compliance best practices, and to having the opportunity to address your questions.
Space is limited. Please RSVP by Wednesday, February 4, 2015.
